Well, what a day this was! Geoff and Natalie’s intimate wedding at the stunning Crockwell Farm, in the heart of Northamptonshire, was both quiet and loud, full of tears (good ones of course!),  laughter, pizza vans, choreographed dance moves and lots of drink! 

I say ‘quiet’ initially, because the ceremony took place in the Orchard Pavilion, a beautiful space at Crockwell Farm surrounded by trees, wild grass and features a winding aisle which stretches all the way back to the farm house itself. It was my pleasure to capture Natalie make her way to the ceremony from the farm house to the Orchard Pavilion accompanied by her two children. Witnessed by only a handful of 20 or so close friends and family, this intimate and touching ceremony was amazing to be apart of, despite the overcast skies of Northamptonshire looming overhead. 

Now husband and wife, Geoff & Natalie and their small wedding party gathered in the gardens to enjoy a reception staple, prosseco…and maybe a bit of beer, I can’t remember! After exchanging many stories and laughs, they moved into the Vaulted Barn, a lovely converted barn space which usually hosts wedding ceremonies at Crockwell Farm, but due to the small wedding party, it was host to the wedding breakfast.

Some delicious food and a couple of tear inducing speeches later, it was time for the ‘loud’ part of the day to begin a almost 100 additional guests descended on Crockwell Farm for the evening shenanigans in the Starlit Marquee. Geoff and Natalie kicked the night off with a choreographed dance which lasted a good 5 minutes, but must have taken about 5 years to learn and remember. A medley of about 5 songs and a million dance moves had the onlooking wedding guests in a mild shock, but they received a wild ovation and the band kicked off their set to start of a great night of dancing, music and most importantly of all…….pizza (for me anyway).
